New Solar + Battery
- Panels and battery designed together
- Hybrid inverter handles both
- Backup circuits where designed for it
- Battery incentives applied at quote
- One installer, one warranty
A battery isn’t an inverter and it isn’t magic. It stores surplus power your panels generate during the day, then supplies it to your home in the evening. We size them to your actual overnight consumption — not a catalogue number.
Panels, inverters & batteries we install
How it works
Your panels make the most power between 9am and 3pm. Without storage, most of that gets exported for a few cents per kilowatt-hour. With a battery, you’re still running on it at 9pm.

Good to know
No. An inverter converts DC from your panels to AC for your home. Storage requires a separate battery — though hybrid inverters combine both functions.
That depends on whether backup circuits were included in the design. Not every installation supports full-home backup — we’ll tell you what’s possible at quote time.
Usually yes, but compatibility matters. We check your inverter, switchboard and array before agreeing to the job — some setups need an inverter upgrade first.
Victorian eligible households may access a battery storage subsidy. Availability changes — we check your eligibility status at quote time and apply anything you qualify for.
In their words
Collected directly from customers after handover — not from a review platform.
The energy audit was the part that impressed us most — they came out, looked at our actual bills and roof, and told us honestly what would and wouldn’t work. No upsell, no pressure. Install was done in a single day by the same crew who quoted us. First quarterly bill was $31. We’ve told every neighbour.
Three companies quoted us. Two gave us a PDF with specs and a price. Green Tree Solar walked us through exactly how the system was sized to our daytime consumption pattern. Different conversation altogether. The monitoring app they set us up with paid for itself the first week when it flagged a panel shading issue.
Already had a 6.6 kW system from 2021. Green Tree Solar checked whether our existing inverter could handle a battery before agreeing to do the job — another installer had already said yes without checking. Honest call saved us from buying equipment that wouldn’t have worked. Retrofit took about five hours.
Being NETCC Approved meant the consumer code protections applied — that was important to us before committing. The paperwork on our end was minimal; they handled the network application and the metering changeover. System has been producing more than the estimate since day one.
